No need to choose between bear and critter protection. The Ursack AllMitey protects your food from all creatures great and small. While our standard Major and Major XL resist being torn by bears, it is prone to small (less than 1/4 inch) punctures/weave separations. The AllMitey is virtually puncture-proof. Not only will it keep out bears teeth and claws it will thwart mice, raccoon, squirrels, pine martens, and other sharp-toothed critters.

  • Virtually puncture proof
  • Material: Laminated UHMWP and Kevlar
  • Water Resistant (treat seams with seam seal or they might leak)
  • Weight: The AllMitey weighs 9.5 ounces
  • Capacity: about 10.65 Liters (approx. 5 days of food for 1 person)

Almost as expected

Almost as expected, except there is no longer a velcro enclosure. This leaves a small gap that is much more likely for mice to get into it. Curious as to why the change and if I can get one that does seal? Thanks

6 Days in the Sierras.

Just got back from a 6 day trip in the sierras and first camp spot had bear tracks. My buddy and I each have one and threw them up in a tree and didn’t worry the entire time. Great product. The only thing I was surprised about was my buddy got a smell proof trash bag with his when he bought it. Besides that, 5 stars and would recommend to anyone in the wilderness.

Not puncture proof at all.

Took my Allmitey paired with an Opsak on the Foothills Trail in the Carolinas for a 5 night backpacking trip. I had heard that bears can crush food inside when stored on the ground so I even hung it off the ground a couple feet. On night 2, a bear was able to puncture the bag with its teeth and claws over and over to the point that nearly all of my food inside was destroyed—my backpacking meals inside my Opsak were all punctured and some had teethmarks. Had my hiking companions not had extra food I would have had to bail on the remaining nights. I’m very disappointed in this bag’s performance.

Wanted to like this, but it's sloppy....

Weight on the scale is actually 10.3 oz. Product specs say 9.5 oz., and box says 13 oz - go figure.

No matter how tight you tie it, there is still a small gap large enough for the smallest of mice to enter.

The sewing job is so rough on the inside that small threads of fabric are constantly abrading off and into the bag, unto the ground, etc.

Perfect for Canoe Tripping

Took this out for the first time on a 7 day trip and I highly recommend. Easy to use, and it worked wonders, even on sites with lots of critters. Would probably size up for a trip of that length or longer.
