The Ursack Major XL bear bag is a larger version of our classic Major and holds about 50% more food than its smaller sibling. At 8.8 ounces, our Major XL bear bag is still more lightweight than a traditional bear canister and prevents bears from getting your food in their territory.

Like the original Ursack

Like the original Ursack, this one gets the job done IF you know how to properly stuff-insulate for smell and knot it up. I do like the larger size: was able to include 8+ days of food for 1 person in it without any real weight penalty over the smaller bag.

Great bag! this was a good size for me

I pack a lot of food to be honest, even for 1 person this bag could fit enough for up to a week for two people i feel depending on the volume of the food. The white is really nice came to ursak website just to get it, really with the white and the reflective strip it makes finding the bag really easy, specially when using reflective accessory cord to hang it (though in snow i don't know if white would be easier to find). would buy again without hesitation.

Light and super easy to use.

We used ours on a three night trip for 4 people, with a bear canister.
Needless to say the Ursack was so much lighter and easier to manage.
The only thing I'd change is getting the Allmitey size instead.
