Very pleased with the Ursack. Lighter and easier to use than a bear canister or a bear hang. Fits in my pack better than a canister, more comfortable to carry. The places that I have been to so far are not known for troublesome bears but it has kept the little critters away.
Sadly the odor proof plastic bags rip
Quite overpriced for what it is. Build quality is fine but I can’t say it matches the incredibly high price. The smell proof bag inside was ripped within 36 hours of being in the backwoods.

Really easy to hold food and pack-up. Tying the knots is easy-peasy. I'd like to experiment with the durability of the sack and perhaps shoot it with dove/quail shot to see if it will withstand the blow, but I don't want to damage it. In any case, I like the sack, and it meets requirements for the Elk-Range here in Colorado.
