Bear destroyed food

I had a bear destroy all my food by mauling the bag. It did get the bag off the tree or actually eat the food, but I had to throw it all away and go into town to restock. The food was in the OP bag inside the Ursack. I would not buy this again and would get a bear canister instead.

Get white, Personalize it!

I love that this is white, I love to personalize things and actually did a watercolor on my ursack and sprayed it with fixative- it works great and it looks wonderful, no more getting bags mistaken for other people’s. I do mostly dehydrated meals, so it fits a full week for me personally.

Love, love, love!

I have been using an Ursack since they first were invented and love them! They are easy to use and so far I have had no animal (small or large) get into my Ursack (knock on wood...). I just purchased a new Ursack Major as my old one finally literally was worn to shreds from use and washings. We still hang our Ursack from a tree or suspend it down a mountain side for extra safety but I know that is not a necessity anymore. We live in bear country so We use every precaution we can. I can highly recommend the Ursack. So much nicer than carrying a large canister.
