On the PCT in Washington now. So far no bears have eaten my food :-)

Hopefully product is better than customer service. I try to support smaller companies/business and bought directly from Ursack. Had an issue, have contacted them 4 times with no response at all except this message to rate product. Go to REI instead, likely less expensive, free shipping and no service charge for a return. Ursack charges premiums, with no customer service follow thru whatsoever. Rarely complain, but lack of customer service (any response whatsoever) is disappointing.

I have been using my bag for 6 years so far, multiple trips per year. I can easily pack for 6 days with dehydrated meals and snacks, about 2500 calories per day. Any more than that can be a little tricky, but I'll hike in with my first day's food out of the bag. Learn how to tie the proper knots and this bag is easy to use, just walk downwind from camp and find a medium tree (one you can wrap your arms around) and tie it up. I love the reflective cordage, makes it easy to find in the dark.
